Music Lesson Scholarships

Music lesson scholarships through Cadence Music, NFP are awarded based on financial need, and can cover partial or full tuition, up to $35.00 per lesson.

Our Scholarship Program is divided into three age groups: 

Allegro - Elementary School Students (grades K-5)

Presto - Middle School Students  (grades 6-8)

Vivace - High School & Post High School Students  (grades 9-14)

  • Our scholarship program is on a waitlist basis for students located in the state of Illinois for the 2024-2025 school year.

    As we continue to receive and secure funding for our scholarship program, we will offer scholarships to our waitlist. Please continue to apply via the button/form above, and we will be in touch!

How do I know if I am eligible for a scholarship?

Are scholarships financial need based or merit based?

Currently, Cadence Music provides scholarships for students that have financial need. Merit based scholarships for music lessons can be found through organizations such as Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS).

How can I donate to the music lesson scholarship program?
